1.5 Supported Devices
RecoveryFox AI is compatible with a wide range of storage devices. We are continuously working to expand device compatibility. Check for software updates regularly to access support for new devices and features.
Below is a list of supported device types and their categories:
PC (Desktops & Laptops) | Compatible with all brands of computers running Windows operating system |
Hard Disk Drive (HDD) | Support various HDD brands and hard drive interface types (such as SATA HDDs, IDE HDDs, or SCSI HDDs) |
Solid State Drive (SSD) | Support various SSD brands and interface standards for solid state drives (such as SATA SSDs, NVMe SSDs, or M.2 SSDs) |
External Drives | External hard drive disks (HDDs), solid state drives (SSDs), and other storage media |
USB Drives | Work with all types and brands of memory cards (incl. SD cards, microSD (TF) cards, CF cards, Memory Stick, NM cards, etc.) from SanDisk, Kingston, Samsung, Lexar, and more |
Any storage device using one of the file systems: NTFS, exFAT, or FAT32, can be well supported by RecoveryFox AI. To ensure successful data recovery, connect your storage device to a Windows computer using a USB port, card reader, or other adapter and make sure the device is correctly recognized by Windows and appears in “This PC” or “Disk Management”.
